I'm thrilled to announce that my debut fantasy novel, Hero Rising, is set to release in mid to late October! This is a story about Holland Blackthorn, a young man born without magic in a world where elemental forces dictate everything. Marked as a “voidborn,” he faces daily struggles against a society that scorns his very existence. But Holland’s journey begins when he competes in the dangerous Selection Day tournament to secure a place at the prestigious Valadent Academy—his one shot at rising above his station and becoming a Citizen. Along the way, he discovers a long-whispered prophecy of The Dawnbringer—a hero destined to challenge the iron grip of the nobility. Will Holland rise above the disdain of his birth to become the hero foretold?
